Eating healthy

 

A big issue with dieting is that it is often unhealthy. The focus is all too often around losing weight, not being healthy. The outcome is therefore unsustainable, as our body’s needs are not being met. Poor nutrition and an overly restrictive intake is never the recipe for long-term health or successful weight-management.

Food is good – we need to develop a love, not a love/hate relationship with it! However, wrong foods, and/or restrictive dieting will make food and eating something that hangs over our lives like a dark cloud. It doesn’t have to be that way. An understanding of nutrition and the bodies’ nutritional requirements are the foundation for healthy eating and therefore healthy bodies.
